Motorists in Scotland are proving themselves particularly 'appy users of technology.
An examination of RingGo iPhone and Android app usage across RingGo's 64 local authority customers shows that the highest usage area is the City of Edinburgh, with thousands of RingGo sessions paid by iPhone and Android apps each week.
City of Dundee is the area with highest penetration of RingGo smartphone usage. The service only launched there in May 2011, but purchases through apps are already a substantial proportion of the total payments made.
