Temporary Resident Permit Information

Temporary one month resident permits are issued to new residents who need to update vehicle ownership details or to current residents who are using a temporary vehicle.

This is a virtual permit which means that there is no need to display anything in your vehicle. Civil Enforcement Officers will be able to identify which vehicles have a valid permit from the vehicle registration number. Car free development residents are not able to apply for residents parking permits.

You will need to supply:

• Proof of residency in your application dated within the last 3 months.

Photographs of documentation will be accepted if you do not have access to a scanner.

Residents will be expected to have obtained the relevant documents by the time the temporary permit expires.

There is a limit of one temporary resident permit per vehicle per household per annum.

Temporary Permits are single vehicle specific and not transferable between vehicles.

Applying for a permit online is a three stage process, firstly you need to register with RingGo, then complete the permit application form and once that has been approved you can purchase your permit.
