How many visitor sessions can I purchase using my Resident Visitor Parking permit in LB of Waltham Forest?

Once your Resident Visitor Parking application has been authorised, you will be notified and you can then purchase parking sessions for your visitors. Note that you are limited to 520 sessions per year, of one hour each. When the year is up and you renew your permit, you will then have another 520 sessions available for purchase.

However, there are two additional permits that LB of Walham Forest residents can obtain, if they are eligible. These give you extra sessions, and are free of charge!

One is the Over 60s Entitlement parking permit. Households with a minimum of 1 resident over the age of 60 are automatically entitled to 60 free additional visitor parking hours per 12 month period. You must provide proof at time of application that you qualify, such as by supplying birth certificate or passport details. Once your application has been authorised, you will have 60 free parking sessions per year.

One is the New Baby Entitlement parking permit. Households with a new born baby up to 3 months old are automatically entitled to 30 free additional visitor parking hours per 12 month period. You must provide proof at time of application that you qualify, such as by supplying birth certificate or a hospital birth record. Once your application has been authorised, you will have 30 free parking sessions per year.
